Mr. Gideon Hosu-Porbley is a Development Researcher and Project Planning & Management
Practitioner. He has strong expertise in monitoring and evaluation, corporate strategy development, logical framework formulation and analysis, results framework development and Value for Money (VfM) analysis, grant writing, concept notes and proposal development.

A former lecturer in Social Research Methods at Ashesi University, he has been a consultant for a number of international development partners in Ghana, and was part of the STAR-Ghana Program Phase I. He has also previously worked for public sector institutions and private sector actors in technical positions.

Gideon has conducted academic and professional assessments in the fields of development and migration. Specifically, he has produced technical papers (including assessment reports) on issues in education, health, gender, trafficking in person, environment, water and sanitation, poverty reduction and local economic development, agribusiness, participatory methodologies, governance and policy, organizational development and civil society capability.

He holds a masters’ degree from the University of Ghana and pursuing a doctoral interest in migration and development studies.
